This was the stuff I've done for my pitch. Not enough went in to it because of the time I had left to develop the idea... But it was a good experience pitching to a big audience. So that was mainly my aim. It's a shame it didn't go through, but hey, that's how it works.

Maybe this could be done in my own time, but the effort it takes to make it look really good could be time-consuming. Dudok De Wits does it by himself, so it is a possibility haha. But to be honest, I don't really want to make it :P.

Just forgot how to paint after not being able to do any since I was away in China land... Really need to get back in to it this summer!

This is a character from FF13, been playing that game none-stop, and it has consumed me... Really not fun gil-grinding. But eh... It was a good game after all. Really want to play FF13: Versus, by the looks of things, it seems like it'll have a better story and game play.

For news, well, my pitch didn't get through. But I'm not that bothered about it. I already signed up on a film I really want to work on :D Going to be another year of learning for me. And this time, it's MAYA! Woop! One of my most hated softwares! But I'm sure once it's done, then it should be a breeze.

This means I could also post up my work for the pitch. I'll do that in another entry.

Guess this is it James, your year of learning has come to an end with me. Saved your sorry ass plenty of times. Let's see what you've attained out of it. I'll be around but not for long. So think about what your doing this year.

Been finalizing characters this week. Did some tweaking with my old sketch. Had to redraw it and make it clearer since the shadows are quite confusing...

Opir Sketches

La-di-dah!

Working on a graphic novel with a friend. Here are some illustrations I'll be doing for it. Character designs will be from me, and he will be writing a story. Hopfully we could successfully finish this and get it published :)

But yeah, pic on the right. I found a really old sketch of it in my drawer as me and mum were rummaging through the cupboards in search of a camera cable lol... I didn't want to do this in color, just in black and white to check the lighting.

I think I'll be doing a few of these. One for every character ^^... Haaaah so excited about the project :B.... But I also have commissions to finish haha...

That's all for now I guess. Been listening to Kevin Michael and Lupe Fiasco quite a lot haha. Songs are stuck in my head! Raaaah! Hmmm... Need to make this DIY cupboard for my room but I really cant be assed...

Doodles

These ones are some sketches on location again... The first few are from a dream I had... Weird, but when I was in this room, it looked so nice. So I just had to sketch it out before I completely lose it... As they say, some of the best storie's comes from you dream, so jot it down as soon as you wake up otherwise they'll disappear forever... For some reason I'm one of those people who has a dream but as soon as they wake up, I completely forget what I just dreamed about... Anyway, here they are ^^

Mmmmm.... really bored... haha I just took this drawing out of my sketchbook... decided to color it 'cause it looked interesting... It's a character from Naruto by the way. Been doing quite a lot of cell shading... I need to do more paintings soon D:/

Still got some commissions to finish. going to London and Birmingham next week with a friend, though! :D

Yesterday, I went to a Chinese restaurant with my friend, and damn... was the food too much! I cant believe I wasted 25£ on dumplings and main meals that I didn't even finish! hehehe But yeah, the food was great though.
