Film Poster

Erm, yeah, this a film poster for one of the upcoming animation films from our uni...

Directed by Ben Ho, it's titled Kung-fu Romance. But I didn't add the title because I feel like I cant seem to find the right font for it haha...
But yeah, It's been real fun working for this film, and I cant wait to see the final product!

Commencing Commissions

Working on commissions now, just started on some old ones I got a while back. nothing much really. Erm yeah, hopefully I could continue doing this through out the summer to get some pocket money ^^,

Quite an eventful day today with my housemate... Very worried about her... Hope she'll be doing alright. If you still haven't tried this, then I think you should. Suggested by my racist friend from my last post, it's a website where you can do quick gesture drawings. It's a real good way of doing some quick life drawings, so that could keep you entertained this summer. So yeah, check posemaniacs.

By the way, In case any one of you are wondering, he's not really a racist haha. I love the guy to bits. It's just funny 'cause I contribute to it haha. And our group kind of revolves around this peculiar manner. Yesterday, I was counting how many asians walked across the street. Seems like Hankinson road is home to many of the ethnic minority lol... Counted about 8 in an hour in total! I was like; "Yep, that right there... Is my family! lol". PS, kids, don't try this at home unless you have other ethnic friends haha. Otherwise, you can safely call yourself a racist XD.

In the mean time, check this new game out... My racist friend made it ¬_¬... And I was stupid enough to help him with it... It's fun though, just some casual racism... hehe.

That aside, I have been feeling ill for a couple of days now... So yeah.. need some good rest.

Animation Crew 08

This is just a compiled drawing of all the members of our year. I think we should use this in our final year haha. Would be awesome to have this as a tee or a jumper 8D

Lady Montage

Oh, Tom's gonna hate me for posting this one XD...

Erm yeah, I wasn't really thinking when I drew this. But as soon as I drew the first woman, I immediately thought Egon Shielle!

So yeah, I guess that influenced the style, plus I wanted it to be a bit angular, and that the formation would somehow link up in shapes...

I drew this when we had a lecture from one of the guys from Aardman haha... Should've been paying more attention, 'cept he was was a bit repetitive...

meh, I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Knackered

Gah! I'm so tired, house hunting today was real productive! I just can't believe how many times I had to go back and forth today... It's like I know every street in Winton now! Ack ><... But yeah, it was a very successful hunt today! It's weird having look at all these shit houses in the last two months and all of a sudden all we found today were excellent! There wasn't even a progression, it was just really bad, to really good all of a sudden! Haha. I think we've settled for the one we like, but we still need our other housemate to look at it. Anyway, yeah I was testing the tablet today, it's really amazing. Bellow's just a doodle without the sensitivity pressure. 8) It's pretty accurate! PS: Holly, I can't seem to comment on your new post 8(....

Sleek and Sexy!

Guess what came through the post today! Haha, yep, got a new tablet. The intuos4, a very amazing upgrade from 3, the pressure sensitivity is excellent!

I haven't tested it out yet, but I'm looking forward to the stuff it's gonna give me!

My intuos3 is now up for grabs, £90 was the highest bid at the mo, anyone else wanna top that?

That aside, nothing much happened... Went to the beach yesterday, it was fun... though the winds picked up later that night, so we had to leave. The others went to their midnight premier of Star Trek the movie. Again, Tom was angry he lost is ears... No clue who he was cos playing... But meh... It's Star Trek lol... no offense guys. XD

What else, oh yeah... Eugh... House hunting today! Busy Busy!

The Yaaaaawn

Yeah, here's a small update, I managed to get hold of some animations from uni... This one is of the yawn, and I also updated the third year project blog, just added an animation I've done today for them ^^, still in rough ofcourse. But yeah, will be cleaning it up soon.

I was going to go back to Brighton today... It was my sis' b-day on Sunday, and I haven't seen her since last year... 8S But there was a lot going on today. And tomorrow, I have been invited by my director to his b-day down the beach. We also had a house viewing at Osborne rd. After seeing it, I really hope we find a decent house soon! It was owned by Jennings... uh! that damn company is so shit! After the big disappointment, I headed towards Holly's, helped her set up her blog layout, some chitchat, and what not. Hehe... It was fun picking out templates, because we were debating on whether Tom would like it or not... haha. I'm looking forward to your new post Hols!

Holly, you shouldve went for those swirls and candies! ahahhaha, Tom would've punched you!

But yeah, I think that's all for today... Gonna end the night watching a movie eating some pot noodles... nom nom, oh yes, embracing the asian-ness indeed! Lol... Or I just can't be assed to cook, since its half 11 and I'm starving.

Foundation Year

This was my first project in foundation year... I was the only one doing 2D animation, so it was quite hard working by myself haha... That's the reason this video is not finished... I'm not even sure if I am able to finish this 8S... I seem to have lost most of the files already...

But yeah, This wasn't my FMP, just one of my first tests... For some reason I can't seem to find my other one though... ah well, it wasn't as good as this, let's put it that way 8). Another note, I updated one of my old blogs, I've uploaded the dog-walk, and I will be posting the yawn/stretch animation too.

That aside, I was just wondering if it was the right thing mentioning names on my previous blog... Was it a rash move on my side? 8S... Ah well, apparently they've read it, but I still havent asked them what they thought of it. Haha...

Hey guys, here's an update. had this idea last night when I was watching a film. the glowing hair wasnt really intentional, but as I looked for inspiration, I stumbled upon thienbao's work on deviantart.

So yeah, this is what it ended up like, she was originally going to have black hair... but I like how this came out... enjoy!
